The Expo Mar 2026 event was held at the Senate courtyards in Mexico City from March 24th to 27th, establishing itself as one of the most important events for the maritime and port sector in the country.

All National Port System Administrations (ASIPONAS) participated in this edition, presenting projects, progress, and initiatives aimed at strengthening Mexico's logistical and economic development.

The opening ceremony was presided over by the Undersecretary of the Navy, José Barradas Cobos, who highlighted the importance of promoting port modernization and strengthening institutional coordination to face global trade challenges. Furthermore, it was noted that the national port system is a strategic pillar for the country's economic growth.

The event was also attended by the Senator of the Navy Commission, Carlos Lomelí Bolaños, who reiterated the legislative branch's support for actions that promote the development and competitiveness of Mexican ports.

Additionally, the Manager of Administration and Finance, Raúl Beristáin Espinoza, participated as a representative of ASIPONA Coatzacoalcos, joining port authorities from across the country in this significant gathering.

Expo Mar 2026 represents a key space for the exchange of ideas, innovation, and collaboration among various sector stakeholders, reinforcing the role of the ASIPONAS as drivers of Mexico's maritime and economic development.
