Expomar 2026 is being held from May 21 to June 1 in the city of Córdoba, Veracruz. During this event, the National Port System Administrations (ASIPONAS) are presenting projects, technologies, and the strategic impact of Mexican ports on the country's logistical and economic development.
In this edition, ASIPONA Coatzacoalcos represents the country's 18 federal ports with the purpose of showcasing:

Strategic Integration: Coatzacoalcos, Salina Cruz, Dos Bocas, and Puerto Chiapas, featuring an exhibition of initiatives, projects, investments, progress, and developments of the PODEBIS (Development Poles), which are key points for the Interoceanic Corridor of the Istmo de Tehuantepec.

EXPOMAR is an interactive, educational, and traveling exhibition organized by the Ministry of the Navy (SEMAR) since 2009 in various cities across Mexico. Its purpose is to strengthen the connection between the civil population and the naval institution, allowing people of all ages to closely learn about the functions, capabilities, history, and values that distinguish Mexican naval personnel.
Through this space, the Ministry of the Navy seeks to consolidate its bond with society through informative, recreational, and demonstrative activities that showcase the work carried out by sailors for the benefit of the country, particularly in tasks related to maritime security, the protection of national sovereignty, civil aid, and marine environmental protection.
The exhibition is made up of various thematic and interactive modules that allow visitors to discover specialized areas of the naval institution, including:

Naval Vehicles and Equipment: Showcasing aircraft, vessels, tactical vehicles, specialized equipment, and the Marine Corps.

Search, Rescue, and Emergency Response: Featuring demonstrations by the Naval Search and Rescue Station (ENSAR), the SEMAR system responsible for safeguarding human life at sea. It includes rescue units and canine teams trained for location and support operations in emergency situations.

Plan Marina: Presenting the relief actions implemented by the Mexican Navy to support the population during natural disasters, contingencies, and civil protection efforts.

Naval History and Culture: Featuring photographic exhibitions, historical materials, and informative content regarding the evolution, mission, and legacy of the Mexican Navy.

Naval Educational Offers: Aimed primarily at young people interested in joining the Naval University and learning about professional training opportunities within the institution.
In addition to its informative components, EXPOMAR incorporates recreational activities, interactive spaces, simulators, operational exhibitions, and areas designed for wholesome family entertainment, promoting a close and engaging experience for all attendees.
It is worth noting that admission to the event is completely free and open to the general public, establishing itself as a 100% family-friendly event that fosters knowledge, community connection, and recognition of the work that the Mexican Navy performs daily for the nation.
